Dak Cheung
Dak Cheung, in southern Laos, is a quiet highland region defined by cool air, forested landscapes, and a way of life shaped by nature.
Still largely undiscovered, it moves at a slower rhythm — where local culture, craft, and everyday life remain closely connected to the land.
A place in transition
Set within this landscape is the Monsoon Wind Power Project — the largest wind farm in Southeast Asia — marking a new chapter for the region.
Here, nature and new development exist side by side. Local communities continue their traditions, while new opportunities begin to take shape.
Our connection to Dak Cheung goes beyond the hotel. Over the years, we have worked closely with local families, including through our coffee program — supporting farmers from cultivation to sourcing — helping create more stable, long-term livelihoods.
HAKSA is part of this place — shaped by its landscape, its people, and its quiet, ongoing transformation.
